GOODWOOD REVIVAL MEETING

Left to Right.
Dick Ace Mechanic aka The Baron, Cliff The Governor, Kev Ace Shop Manager and Racer, Roger Munsey 80's Club racer
On the 17th -  19th of September 2010 Ace Classics & The Barons Speed Shop were invited to race their 1954 T110 Racer at The Goodwood Revival weekend.
This is a two part rider race in the sprit of the 1950's Saturday morning race.
Kev was teamed up with 80's Club Racer and current classic bike racer Roger Munsey in the Barry Sheene Memorial Race.
Only 30 bikes are invited to this magical event and a lot of star riders from the past and present.
Friday Morning was the free pratice and qualifying Friday evening Kev & Roger got a respectable 16th place. Roger started the Le Mans style run start race on the Saturday gaining to 13th position with Kev taking the second leg and finishing in 9th place
Sunday morning and Kev's turn to start the race. Still leaving the grid from 16th position and roaring into 7th place Kev held his own amongst the pack of Gold Stars, Manx Norton's, and 1000cc Vinneis. Unfortunately in the 3rd lap the bike started to misfire and that was the end of the race for the dymamic duo.
Overall the pair finished 17th place. Not to bad considering not finishing the last race and this being Kev's first ever race.
