Ace Desert Parts Small Competition Seat

This seat is to fit the Duplex 1960-1962 Pre Unit’s and the Unit range 500 & 650 & Oil in Frame models.

This is a great looking seat it really slims the bike down, as you will see when fitted to the bikes in these pictures.

Comes complete with fitting brackets front and rear for the Duplex models and the same for the Unit 500 & 650 Models.

PLEASE NOTE THIS SEAT WILL NEED SOME MINOR ALTERATIONS TO MAKE IT FIT

To fit this seat to a unit model it is not a straight forward bolt on item, the bars under the seat will need to be cut according to what oil tank you have, also the conventional battery tray can’t be used because of clearance issues. We first designed this seat to fit the earlier pre unit’s and rigid models but when building the green oil in frame bike in the pictures for our customer in France @Djouz we found this seat really looked the part on the later bikes.

Yes, you will need to modify it slightly but it will 100% change the look of your bike. We have added some pictures how we have made it fit to our 1963 TR6 Sled to give a good idea of what needs to be done.

FITMENT TO THE OIL IN FRAME TRIUMPH MODELS

This seat will also fit the later oil in frame models, but you will need to make your own front bracket, the plan is to make a bolt on bracket for the front of the seat but for the time being this is something that we don’t supply. You maybe able to make a bracket yourself or have a welder make a bracket and weld it to the front part of the frame. the rear bracket supplied can be used with no alterations

Each one of our Competition Seats have been hand-made with high quality materials. Being hand-made, there may be some minor imperfections or differences from one seat to another.
