We can now supply a Skid plate for your “OIL IN FRAME” model
A must have item for any Desert Sled. When the likes of Steve McQueen or Bud Ekins were blasting though the Deserts this skid plate would have protected the engine cases from anything coming at them.
The last thing any racer wants is a hole in their crankcases!!
No fittings are required as the large brackets at the front, mount on the top frame/engine lug and the rear of the plate has a bracket as part as the skid plate and we supply a frame clip for mounting, no welding required.
One of the bonuses about this skid plate is there is no need to cut off the side stand lug like most others.
The side stand will need to be removed when fitting this skid plate but the lug can be left in place on the frame.
