Triumph Jiffy Side Stand

This is one of those parts, if you know you know!

This was an American made part and designed to bolt on the front engine plate.  Triumph never fitted a side stand lug to the rigid frames until 1949-50,

This was an aftermarket part that could be bolted to the front left hand side engine plate, to save pulling your back out putting the bike on the rigid rear stand.

This will fit all of the Rigid Models and Swinging Arm pre unit models up to 1959

Even if you have a side stand lug in place, this is a great looking custom piece that is no longer available and will look the part on your bike!

It appears this one must have been fitted to a 1950’s Thunderbird, as you can still see the polychromatic blue paint on the swivel part of the stand.

This stand will need painting or chroming as the old chrome has pretty much all flacked off.
