Triumph – Ace Desert Parts Unit 650 Skid Plate Unit 650 Triumph Skid plate A must have item for any Desert Sled. When the likes of Steve McQueen or Bud Ekins were blasting though the Deserts this skid plate would have protected the engine cases from anything coming at them. The last thing any racer wants is a hole in their crankcases!! No fittings are required as the large brackets at the front, mount on the top frame/engine lug and the rear of the plate we have a tab/bracket that hooks over a mounting stud that is supplied with the skid plate. This stud replaces the 2 rear frame bolts.
