Original nacelle bars painted in amaranth red.
In 1952/3 there was a chrome shortage due to the Korean War, so the Triumph factory and other manufacturers ended up painting lots of the usually chromed parts: handlebars & wheel rims were the biggest items! This set of bars has survived since 1952 and are in good condition despite a few scratches to the paint as you would expect for a set of bars 70+ years old.
These bars have the hole for the horn button.
You will notice in the pictures a copy of the 1952 sales brochure with the Thunderbird and Speed Twin both with coloured bars.
These are extremely rare we have never seen another set with the original paint so get them while you can!
