Ensign Trials Universal 350-19 Front Tyre

This is the tyre we fit on all our desert sled bikes. It is a replica of the Dunlop Trials Universal tyre which is no longer available and was the front tyre of choice for most Desert racers in the 1950’s and 60’s in the USA.  the Ensign Universal Trials tyre is perfect for rough terrain as well as being road-legal and performing well on the road!

Continental TKC 80 400×18″ Rear Tyre

This is the tyre we fit on all our desert sled bikes. It is designed to cope with the rough terrain and anything the desert could throw at it. We use this tyre on the rear of all our desert bikes.

In the 1960’s a Dunlop Sport would have been fitted to the rear on most Desert bikes, that tyre is no longer available. But the TKC 80 is a good match and if fitting to a Triumph you wont have any clearance issues. This tyre looks the part with our 350 x 19 Ensign Trials Universal.

Less aggressive than modern motocross tread patterns,

• Tried and tested for long hauls and competition
• Self-cleaning tread pattern
• High levels of side stability on soft surfaces
• Very good on-road handling and mileage
